PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. The meeting will start in special business with a review of the city’s snow removal process and procedures. Commissioners will consider approval of a six-item consent calendar followed by a public hearing for BID-number three and first reading of a related ordinance. In new business, the Commission will consider a street closure request for the Parade of Lights on November 20th and will consider first reading of a revision to an ordinance relating to the construction of sidewalks, curbs and gutters. A second first reading will be given to another ordinance revision; this one regarding the location and the trimming of trees. Commissioners will consider a change order for a sewer main lining project, a request to surplus property and consideration of 2024 liquor license renewals. The meeting will end with Commissioners presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
