After the Stanley County Lady Buffs came from behind to take the first set 26-24, they rode a wave to victory by final scores of 25-19, 24-26 and 25-19 over the Sully Buttes Chargers at Parkview Gym.
The Lady Buffs worked the net on contested shots, and Sully Buttes got tripped up with unforced errors, but still kept it close. Both teams tallied 11 service errors for the match.
Leading the way for the now 15-5 Stanley County Lady Buffs-was Brylee Kafka and Cadence Hand with nine and seven kills respectively.
The Chargers were led once again by Trichelle Whites’ seven kills, while Payge Bakker and Madison Bradberry each contributing five kills.
Stanley County also held their Digging For Pinks Breast Cancer Awareness night, with pink jerseys and fundraisers throughout the evening. They’ll travel to Dupree Thursday for their next match.
The 11-11 Chargers will hold their Digging For Pinks Breast Cancer Awareness night Thursday, hosting Class A powerhouse Mobridge Pollock. Fans are urged to attend to help raise funds for breast cancer research and development.
