PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. A light agenda greets the Commission tonight. Commissioners will hear an update on a water service line survey in special business before considering approval of a four-item consent calendar. The calendar includes minutes, claims, the cemetery clean-up on October 23rd and will set a public hearing on October 17th at 5:45 pm for a temporary liquor license for the Pierre Chamber. In unfinished business, the Commission will consider awarding a bid for the 2023 sewer lining project. Only two items of new business are on the agenda. The Commission will consider approval of a change order on the washbay project and updates to the 2024 fee schedule. Commissioners will end the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the community.
