The Stanley County Buffaloes would pick up another dominating win on Friday night as the homecoming game was a success beating the Lemmon/McIntosh Cowboys 48-16.
It would take until the final minute of the first quarter, but Broch Zeeb would find Barrett Schweitzer wide open for a 39 yard pass to get the Buffs on the board first, holding the Cowboys long drive to stall out without any points. Colton Brady would then find the end zone midway through the second quarter to give the Buffs a 16-0 advantage before the Cowboys would score its first touchdown of the game. But again Stanley County would score in the final minute of the quarter with Zeeb finding Paxton Deal for a 45 throw and score as the Buffs went up 24-6 at the break.
Another three scores for the Buffaloes in the second half as Ehran Cantu would get his first carry of the season and score his first career touchdown while Brady would score the final two touchdowns of the game as Stanley County also would go 6-6 in two point conversions.
Stanley County is now 6-1 on the season and will close the regular season in Faith next Friday. Kickoff is slated for 7:00 central time.
