The Pierre Governor Golf team starts its two day state tournament in Brandon and looking to compete for both individual and team state titles.
While the Governors didn’t win a team event, Pierre has been exceptional on the course all year recording low scores with one of the most competitive years the state of South Dakota has ever seen. Nick Bothun has been an individual winner this year winning a playoff and also tying for first with a scorecard playoff. Pierre has the tools and capability from every one of its team members to make a run at state.
