Last year the Sully Buttes Chargers and Potter County Battlers would play twice, both times in Onida with the Chargers winning both. Now the two teams will renew the rivalry tonight in Hoven.
The Chargers rolled the Battlers in Week Two last season with a 36-6 victory. It was the same result in the Chargers winning in the first round of the playoffs, but it was more of slugfest as the Chargers won 14-12 to end the Battlers season. Now, heading into Week Two this year, the Battlers are coming off a 30 point win while the Chargers are traveling after a 22 point home loss to 9AA Stanley County.
