Fresh off a national championship in 2022-2023, South Dakota State is predicted to be the Missouri Valley Football Conference champions once again. The Preseason poll would be released last week and the Jacks are the favorite to win the conference title.
SDSU received 539 points in the poll, 47 points ahead of North Dakota State who is predicted to place second. Then the gap is separated with Northern Iowa only receiving 409 points in third and then the North Dakota Fighting Hawks in fourth at 399. The South Dakota Coyotes are predicted to finish in ninth place in the 12 team league with 226 points. The Valley introduced Murray State, out of Kentucky and they are predicted to finish in 11th place in its first year.
