The Oahe Zap have just 12 games remaining in the season and are 3.5 games out of first place as they face the Fremont Moo in a three game series in Fremont, starting tonight.
After dropping the final two games of the weekend against Hastings, Oahe lost some ground on the Casper Spuds and are running out of time to make up the difference. However, Oahe still has six games of its 12 games remaining against the Spuds so winning the second half is still well within the Zap’s control as they sit at 9-9 in the second half of the year. Fremont, the Independence League first half winner has been slow in the second half at just 6-11 but are 23-18 overall in the 2023 summer season. The Zap dispatched the Moo in a series sweep at home just a week ago winning two one run ballgames.
First pitch from Fremont tonight is at 7:05.
