DRAPER — The South Dakota Highway Patrol has released the name of the person killed in a crash on Interstate 90 in Jones County last week. The crash happened May 28th on I-90, three miles east of Draper around 9:15 pm. A 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling west on the interstate at the time of the crash. A 2013 G-M-C Acadia was traveling behind the motorcycle when the Acadia rear-ended the motorcycle. Both occupants on the motorcycle were thrown from the vehicle. The motorcycle driver, 52 year-old Todd Brown of Superior, Wisconsin was transported to the hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries. The motorcycle passenger, 59 year-old Debra Bolk also of Superior, Wisconsin was killed in the crash. The Acadia driver is a 16 year-old female from Kadoka. Charges are pending against the driver of the Acaida. She was using a seat belt. The occupants of the motorcycle were not wearing helmets.
