The Stanley County Lady Buffs will face a familiar foe who they played a week and a half ago, as the Dupree Tigers take on the Lady Buffs in the opening round of the Region 6A tournament.
Its the 3-6 matchup tonight as the Tigers look for a second win in as many games against the Lady Buffs as the Tigers won the first meeting 60-39 back on Friday, Feb. 10. Stanley County comes in at 6-14 while Dupree is at 15-5. The Tigers ended the season winning three in a row while the Lady Buffs have dropped four straight to end the season. Both Kori Gabriel and Alejandra Juarez are looking to extend their basketball careers at Stanley County with an upset road victory tonight.
Winter weather has forced the game to be moved to Mobridge and the teams will play first at 4:00. The winner of tonight’s game will face the winner Mobridge-Pollock and McLaughlin who will play after the conclusion of the Stanley County game.
