The Pierre Governor boys wrestling team will start its postseason journey Saturday as the Governors will wrestle in the region tournament hosted by Todd County.
Pierre will look to qualify all 14 weight classes on the way to the state tournament starting next week Thursday. The Govs wrestle in 3A and will see members from Aberdeen Central, Chamberlain, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte, Huron, Milbank, Mitchell, Sisseston and the host team, Todd County. The top four in each weight class will advance to the state tournament in Rapid City.
The regions are set to begin at 10:00 AM at Todd County high school.
