The Miller Rustlers are on their way back to the state tournament after a three set sweep in the 2-15 matchup in the SoDak 16 over Groton Area with scores of 25-21, 25-12 and 25-10.
The Rustlers jumped out to early leads and got better as the game went on Tuesday as they improve to now 32-2 on the season. Miller was led by Ally Mullaney and Abbi Blake with 13 and 10 kills respectively while Tyra Gates had 33 assists for the Rustlers. Miller had just four service errors with three aces in the win. Jolie Palmer had 24 digs for Miller.
The Rustlers will face the Platte-Geddes Black Panthers in the first round of the Class A State tournament after the Black Panthers picked up a four set win over Hamlin.
