The Pierre Governors will travel to Huron on Friday as the Govs look to remain unbeaten, but also capture the ESD title without a loss.
Pierre is 6-0 after its incredible comeback win over Brandon Valley trailing 28-7 late in the second quarter. Lincoln Kienholz who helped orchestrate the comeback on the offensive side has now pushed his way to being just 43 yards away from breaking the all-time career passing yard mark. He’s likely to beat it on the first offensive possession of the game.
Huron comes in at 2-4 and have won two of its last three games including a win over Douglas on Friday with a 32-14 victory. Three of the four losses though for Huron have been against teams the Governors have beaten with all three being 30 plus point victories.
