PIERRE — A light agenda will greet the Pierre City Commission as they begin the month of September tonight. First up is a four-item consent calendar. On the calendar are minutes from the August 30th meeting, the claims and raffle requests from the South Dakota Discovery Center and Pierre Area Senior Center. In unfinished business, a 5:45pm public hearing will be held for the intent to lease space at Pierre Regional Airport for the Transportation Security Administration and Commissioners will consider bid results for the Pickleball Court project. In new business, Commissioners will consider approval of a personnel policy update regarding mileage and in-state lodging rates and first reading will be given to the 2023 budge ordinance. Commissioners will close out the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30pm. The meeting is open to the community.
