FORT PIERRE — The Stanley County Commission is meeting this evening at the Stanley County Courthouse. Commissioners will hear from The Right Turn regarding the county budget and will discuss a motor grader lease and new hire in the Highway Department. Fairgrounds Manager Scott Deal will discuss a home and land adjoining the fairgrounds with Commissioners and the group will consider a resolution regarding the Central South Dakota Ambulance District. The Fort Pierre Fire Department will also make a budget presentation and a public hearing will be held for county wide permission to install rural water pipelines from West River/Lyman Jones Rural Water System. Also on the agenda are consideration of building permit fees, trash cans outside the courthouse, an automatic budget supplement for roads and bridges, the surplus of office equipment and an executive session for personnel. The Stanley County Commission meets tonight at five-PM.
