The Pierre Governor wrestling team finished in second place behind Brandon Valley in Brookings on Saturday with a team score of 237.5

The Governors had tournament wins from Alex Oedekoven in the 106 and Deegan Houska in the 152. Blake Judson was second in the 138 while Tristin Spencer in the 132, Noah Williams in the 120 and Chance Carda in the 182 all placed third.

The Governor girls had three tournament wins in Brookings with Abbigail Lewis in the 142, Gianna Stangeland in the 132, Kezrey Benning in the 120 and Sydney Uhrig in the 106 all won their respective weight class tournaments.
