The Pierre Governors had an extra day of rest after its ESD triangular with Huron and Watertown was postponed due to weather, and the Governors each came away with tournament team wins on Saturday.

The Governor boys were in Mitchell and took home the team title with a 185, 13 points better than Sturgis as Blake Judson in the 138 was the lone tournament winner for the Governors, but received five second place finishes as Alex Oedekoven in the 106, Nate Williams in the 126, Chase Carda in the 145, Jayden Wiebe in the 160 and Josh Rydberg in the heavyweight all made it to the championship match.

The Governor girls picked up a team score of 124 while Canton finished with a 97 in second place. Gianna Stangeland and Ciara McFarling each won their respective divisions for the Governors. Sydney Uhrig and Ireland Templeton each made the championship match finishing in second place for the Governors.

Full results are below. The Governors will be in Brookings on Tuesday for a dual. The East/West Duals are scheduled for this coming Saturday in Pierre.
