MURDO — One person has died in acrash on Interstate 90 in Jones County. The crash happened Saturday, three miles east of Murdo around 1:30 P-M. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is indicating a 2003 Chevy Avalanche was traveling east on the interstate when it left the roadway to the left. The vehicle ended up crossing both eastbound lanes when it entered the south ditch and rolled over. The driver is a 74 year-old male. The man was not using a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The man’s name is being withheld pending notification of family.
