PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. A light agenda will see Commissioners giving consideration to a handful of items. A five-item consent calendar includes meeting minutes from the May 25th meeting, two new hires a raffle request and the claims. A public hearing will be held at 5:45 pm for a malt beverage and wine license transfer from East Side Bar and Grill to East Wind. New business for the Commission includes consideration of a street closure request for the Dam Run Gravity Drags on Governor’s Drive on August 14th and a Missouri River Energy Solutions resolution to designate an authorized representative. The meeting will end with Commissioners presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM.
