The Pierre Governor tennis team will be at home for the first time this afternoon after having last week’s home opener postponed to May.
The Governors will be hosting both Huron and Spearfish in a triangular today as the Govs will see both the Tigers and Spartans again. They are 1-1 with vastly different results in the two meetings so far. The Govs beat Spearfish 9-0 in the first weekend of the season out in Rapid City while the Govs dropped a 7-2 loss to the Tigers. Pierre will face Aberdeen Central on May 6. Pierre remains at 3-8 on the season to this point.
Pierre faces Huron at 11:00 AM followed by its match with Spearfish around 3:00. Games are at Griffin Park in Pierre.
