The Pierre Governor tennis team will not be in action today as originally planned as the home opening dual against Aberdeen Central has been postponed because of rain.
The Govs will have to wait until next week Tuesday for its home opening matches now when they host Huron and Spearfish in a triangular. Any little bit of rain jeopardizes the possibility of playing and the rain already fallen overnight and the forecast for the day, it saves the Golden Eagles hours driving in the day to still not play. The Govs have just two more road dates before the end of the season.
The triangular next week Tuesday will begin at 11:00 AM at Griffin Park in Pierre.
