PIERRE, (KCCR) — While the Euclid Reconstruction project is about making much needed repairs to Euclid Avenue, it is also about updating decades old City of Pierre infrastructure. The Pierre City Commission approved an amendment Tuesday night to the Construction Administration Services agreement the city has with H-D-R Engineering. Project Manager Gidget Palmer says they want H-D-R to go a bit farther with their services…
That survey work will give city utility officials a better look at what’s underground for future work needs…
Commissioner Blake Barringer asked Palmer if the information obtained will be compatible with Pierre’s database of infrastructure…
The amendment is for time and materials with a not-to-exceed cost of 55-thousand dollars.
