The Pierre Governor tennis team would fall in both matches to the Watertown Arrows and Huron Tigers with a 9-0 Arrows win and 7-2 Tigers victory on Saturday in Huron.
For Pierre, Jacob Leiferman in singles flight two and Levi Hight in singles flight six would both their matches on the day. Pierre starts its ESD season at 0-2 with the Arrows in Class AA, but the Tigers in Class A with Pierre. Watertown improves to 2-1 with a win 8-1 over Huron and Tigers are 1-1 to start the season.
