
PIERRE, (KCCR) — The South Dakota Highway Patrol has released the name of a Highmore woman killed last week in a single vehicle crash in Hand County. The crash that killed 22 year-old Kila Louann Good of Highmore happened on U-S Highway 14, one mile west of Wessington just before 9:30 am. Good was driving east when the 2005 Ford Excursion she was driving left the road surface to the left, entering the north ditch, where it rolled over. According to the preliminary crash investigation, Good was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Weather and slippery road conditions may have been a contributing factor in the crash.
