Pierre’s election is on June 8th. The Pierre election is the only one in Pierre as there were no challengers for the two open Pierre School Board spots this year. An election forum was held last night for the only open seat on the Fort Pierre City Council. Michael Jacobson is challenging Callie Iverson in Ward II. That election is next week.
