Over the last weekend of March, the state youth wrestling tournaments would take place and both Pierre and Stanley County Youth Wrestling teams would get place winners and state champions.
For Pierre, the team would get five state champions with 38 kids placing overall. Bentley Minder would win in the 12U division while Sydney Caven would win in 14U. Three high schoolers would win state titles in the 19U as Shaylee Speck, Dani Ringstmeyer and Alex Oedekoven would pick up state championships. Other wrestlers who made the championship and finished in second were Abner Spoehr in the 6U division, Lakelyn Caven in the 8U, Olivia Deffenbaugh in the 10U and Brody Doolittle in the 14U.
For Stanley County, they had nine wrestlers qualify and all nine turned into state place winners. It included the state champion Paysen Garrett in the 10U division. Jeff Knight finished in second in 14U and both Ahleise Schweitzer and Gunner Schreiber in 14U placed fourth.
