Pierre Mayor Steve Harding and Fort Pierre Mayor Gloria Hanson also spoke during the ceremony. Lynette Rasmussen with Jensen Construction says the most impressive stat about the new Waldron bridge has nothing to do with tons of steel and concrete.
Construction on the bridge started in May of 2021. The cost of the bridge is just shy of 50-million dollars. A ribbon cutting was held outside following the dedication.
