Coming up this weekend in Salem, it is the annual Three Class Shootout as Lennix DuPris from Pierre and Kaden Montana from Stanley County, will participate in the games.
The Three Class Shootout is for seniors in the state and will be divided to play with their respective classes. DuPris was an All-ESD member again this season in her final year with the Govs and will be joined by Taaliyah Porter of Stevens, Grace Peterson of Washington, Jozie Dana and Mya Kochuten of Spearfish, Madison Geiver of Brandon Valley, Logan Smidt of Brookings, Lauren Van Overschelde of Mitchell and Julia Eggert of O’Gorman.
Montana was again a member of the Big Dakota All-Conference team as he helped lead Stanley County to 16 wins on the season in his final year with the Buffs. He’ll be joined on the Class A boys team by Benson Kieffer and Julius Frog of Rapid City Christian, Logan Collette and Luke Bruns of Dakota Valley, Paul Parsley of Flandreau, Mason Sabers of McCook Central/Montrose, Ben Brooks of Madison, Maverick Nelson of Sioux Valley and Kyle Virtue of Custer.
The schedule for the day is 1:00 for AA Girls vs. A Girls, 2:30 for B Girls vs. the winner of the first game. Then at 4:00 it will be the AA Boys vs. A Boys followed by the dunk contest and then at 5:30 it will be the B boys against the winner of the first boys game.
