The Wall Eagles would battle all the way back and hold on to beat the Wall Eagles 59-55 Friday in the consolation semifinal on Friday in Aberdeen.
The Raiders controlled the first half to a dominating second quarter outscoring the Eagles 25-10 and led 35-22 at the break. However, the Eagles outscored the Raiders by 10 in the third and another seven in the fourth to comeback and defeat Lyman to advance the consolation championship on Saturday. Dawsen Volmer had the team high 19 points as he was the only player in double figures for Lyman. Teelan Kjerstad at the game high 22 points for the Wall Eagles while Emmet Dinger chipped in 17 as the Eagles shot 32% from the field while Lyman shot 45% from the field. However, the Raiders had 12 more turnovers than Wall.
Lyman will finish the season on Saturday playing in the 7th place game. Tip off is at 12:00 from the Barnett Center in Aberdeen.
