PIERRE, (KCCR) — BankWest announced Friday the addition of Douglas Baxter as the financial institutions new Chief Financial Officer. Baxter will oversee BankWest’s finances and budgeting. He brings 30 years of banking and investment experience to BankWest and Pierre. Baxter has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Penn State University and has passed the Uniform Certified Public Accountant exam. BankWest Chairman Charles Burke the Third says Baxter has an extensive background in community banking and a strong financial knowledge that will make him a tremendous asset to BankWest. Baxter adds that he’s excited to start his position. He says he’s looking forward to working for a company that gives back to the community while helping customers achieve and maintain financial success. Baxter and wife Allison have two kids and are looking forward to becoming active members of the community.
