PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. The Commission will welcome the Pierre Governor championship girls wrestling team in special business and will also get, in special business, an update on a water meter program. Approval of a nine-item consent calendar will follow along with two items of unfinished business. The Commission will consider approval of a plat change in the Brookstone Addition and a bid award for a new aerial platform ladder truck. New business for the Commission includes considering approval of the St. Patrick’s Day parade route and a moving permit for Darrel Beck and Maberry House Moving at 1408 Northstar Ave. Commissioners will also give first reading to an ordinance update regarding the Emerald Ash Borer and a memorandum of understanding with the Pierre School District. Commissioners will end the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
