Just five days after closing the season beating the North Central Thunder at home, the Sully Buttes Chargers will face the Thunder again in Onida, this time in the Region 6B tournament.
North Central beat Herreid/Selby Area on Monday in the play-in game as the Thunder went 2-0 against the Wolverines this year, but the Chargers are looking to go 2-0 against the Thunder. Sully Buttes won 65-36 on Friday with much of the second half without the Sully Buttes starters. The Chargers are in 12th place overall in the Class B standings and will need to win two games this week to make the SoDak 16. With a win, the Chargers will then host the Friday SoDak 16 qualifying game against either Faulkton Area or Potter County. The other two matchups in Region 6B is Ipswich hosting Sunshine Bible Academy and Wakpala hosting Highmore-Harrold.
