Pierre City Commission To Meet Tonight

PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission holds its first meeting of March tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. Commissioners will consider approval of a five-item consent calendar. Included on the calendar are minutes and claims and three new hires in the Street, Park and Recreation Departments. In unfinished business, the lone item is to considering the award of a bid for construction of landfill cell number four at the Pierre Regional Landfill. Three items of new business will come before the Commission tonight. Commissioners will hear introduction of a plat of lots in the Brookstone Addition and a request to purchase a roller for the Street Department. The Commission will also meet with the Pierre Economic Development Corporation regarding the RESCO addition. Commissioners will also present any dialogue they may have before the meeting ends. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the community.
