The Sully Buttes Chargers boys basketball team will finish the regular season against the North Central Thunder in Onida as the Chargers gear up for the postseason.
Sully Buttes is going to be the number one seed in the Region 6B tournament regardless of tonight’s outcome, but the Chargers need the win to keep pace in all of Class B. Sully Buttes is 13th in all of Class B and a win will at least keep them at 13th if not moving up to 12 or even 11 with some help. North Central is 7-12 and in seventh in the Region 6B standings. North Central will gain seed points no matter the outcome, but will most likely be hosting a play-in game before traveling if they win the first game of the tournament. The Chargers will face the winner of the 8-9 game which is currently slated to be Sunshine Bible Academy and Herried/Selby Area.
