PIERRE, (KCCR) — A bill to support horse racing in Fort Pierre this fall continues it’s canter through the South Dakota legislature. House Bill 1057 was in front of the Senate Committee on Appropriations Friday. HB 1057 picked up it’s first no vote on it’s journey through the legislature in Senate Appropriations. The bill was moved to the full Senate with Senator John Carley of Piedmont casting the lone no vote, seven-to-one.
