Lady Buffs Fall to Mobridge-Pollock as Season Winds Down

The Mobridge-Pollock Lady Tigers would storm its way to a makeup date win over the Stanley County Lady Buffaloes in Fort Pierre on Thursday, 67-25.

After Tuesday’s doubleheader was postponed because Mobridge-Pollock off of school from the extreme cold, the Tigers didn’t waste any time scoring 35 points in the first quarter and enacting the running clock at halftime with a 52-17 lead. Blake Thompson would have the game high for the Lady Tigers with 17 points while Jaycee Netterville with 13. Stanley County’s Addi Deal had a team high nine points as the Lady Buffs fall to 2-17 on the season while Mobridge-Pollock improves to 16-2.

Stanley County will close the regular season tonight with a boys and girls doubleheader hosting Little Wound. It’s also senior night for the Buffs. The girls will tip off at 6:30 and the boys game to follow at the Parkview Auditorium in Fort Pierre.
