The Sully Buttes Chargers will be in Faulkton to take on the Trojans on in the final regular season doubleheader tonight as the girls also close the season.
Tonight closes the regular season for the girls who had its game canceled on Tuesday against Sunshine Bible Academy. The Chargers are 8-10 and will face the 12-7 Faulkton Area Trojans. This could be a potential first round matchup if one of the two teams move up a spot in the standings. The Chargers are in sixth place in the 6B standings while the Trojans are fourth. It’s the final game of the season for both teams.
The Sully Buttes boys are 12-4 on the season and will face the 8-11 Trojans who are finishing the season tonight. The Chargers are in first in Region 6B while Faulkton is in fourth. It’s a potential matchup in the SoDak 16 qualifying game if both teams can win in the quarterfinals. Sully Buttes will still have another two games to play with Saturday’s game against Lower Brule in Aberdeen and then hosting North Central next week Friday.
