The Pierre Governor gymnastics team are in Watertown over the next two days as the Govs will compete on Friday for the team state title and then compete individually on Saturday.
Piere qualified as a team and will get a chance to compete on the first day together before several compete on Saturday in individual events. Pierre was scheduled to be in Watertown for the Qualifying meet, but ended up competing in Sioux Falls at Lincoln High School so they didn’t get to have their run in the same location in back-to-back weeks.
On Saturday, the Governors will have individuals competing as Emy Loe and Kirsten Korber will compete in the vault, KaCee Wilson in the bars and Ryen Sheppick, Isabel Jirsa and Rebecca Spitzer in the beam.
