Friday morning, the Stanley County Buffalo wrestling team will compete in the state dual tournament in Pierre as they come in at 8-0 and are the five seed.
Stanley County will open the tournament against Bon Homme/Avon who is also undefeated at 13-0 on the year. While not being at home, Stanley County will still get more of a home mat advantage being right across the river in Pierre while other teams will have to be on the bus early on Friday. Stanley County, in the 4/5 will most likely face Canton in the semifinals with a win as the three teams undefeated in duals in Class B are all on the top of the bracket.
The state dual tournament begins at 11:00 AM Friday morning in Pierre with the first round. The semifinals will wrestle 15 minutes after the round is concluded and the state place matches starting at 2:00.
