The Pierre Governor gymnastics team will be heading to the state meet this upcoming weekend as the Governors finished the regular season Saturday in Watertown.
Pierre had its best finish on the day from Ryen Sheppick as she placed tenth in the bars category with a 9.3. Sheppick would also place 11th in All-Around totaling a 35.375. Kirsten Korber placed 11th in the vault with a 9.025 as the Govs stayed consistent throughout the afternoon and will be taking the team to the state meet this weekend. The state meet runs Friday with the team championship followed by individual championships on Saturday at Watertown High School.
