The Pierre Governor girls basketball team will be in action this weekend with a home game tonight against the Yankton Gazelles before traveling to Tea on Saturday.
The Governors will face a winless Yankton team tonight who are 0-13 on the season. Pierre can’t overlook an ESD opponent regardless of record before traveling out to Tea and face the Titans who are 5-10. The Titans have played close to a lot of teams including an 11 point loss to undefeated Sioux Falls Christian just a week ago. The Titans are coming off games against both Sioux Falls Christian and O’Gorman, two of the four teams in all of South Dakota who are undefeated between all three classes.
Dylan Simmons will have the call tonight with tip off at 7:00. Jon Winkler will have the call on Saturday with a 3:00 tip off time. Both games will be on KCCR and on YouTube at KCCR Sports.
