George Stalley, a senior at Pierre, would sign his National Letter of Intent to continue his football career at Southwest Minnesota State University in the fall.
Stalley had seven touchdown receptions and 41 catches overall for the Governors in his senior campaign. He had 13 career touchdown grabs and was a two time All-State football member. He was the speedy receiver for the Governors who had big grabs in big games. He joins Southwest Minnesota State out of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference where the Mustangs look to turn things around from the 2024 season in which they finished winless at 0-11. With Stalley signing with SMSU, there are now five teams in the NSIC with Pierre Governors as Minnesota State, Wayne State, Sioux Falls and Northern State all have Govs on their rosters.
