Ty Mikel, an offensive lineman for the Pierre Governors, would sign his National Letter of Intent on Thursday to continue his football career at Northern State University.
Mikel has been the tackle for the Pierre Governors over the last couple of years although has battled his fair share of injuries. Mikel joins the Northern State Wolves who finished 6-5 in 2024. He joins former teammates Cade Kaiser and Emmit Anderson. Mikel was a workhorse for the Governors and one of just a few to return on the line from the 2023 state championship team heading into 2024.
