The Stanley County Buffaloes will both be looking to stop skids on Thursday as the Crow Creek Chieftains will be in town for a Region 6A Doubleheader.
The Lady Buffaloes again will be looking to stop its losing streak. Stanley County has dropped 13 straight at 1-13 and face the 3-10 Lady Chieftains tonight. Crow Creek has also lost eight straight including a 70-48 loss to Winner on Monday. Crow Creek is a full seed point ahead of Stanley County for fifth place in Region 6A.
The Buffalo boys will be trying to stop a two game skid with back-to-back losses to Cheyenne-Eagle Butte and Sully Buttes. The Buffs are still 10-3 even with those two straight losses. Stanley County fell back to the number two spot in Region 6A just behind Cheyenne-Eagle Butte. Crow Creek is currently the seventh seed in Region 6A, but are still 5-9 on the season. The Chieftains started out 3-1, but are 2-8 including falling in six of the last seven since. The Buffaloes will still also play Unity Christian on Saturday as Stanley County is in the eighth game of a 17 day stretch with nine games in total.
