Dodson’s Six Goals Propels Caps to Win over Brandon Valley

The Oahe Capitals would get a 9-4 win over Brandon Valley on Sunday to close the weekend at 1-2 as Dylan Dodson had six goals in the win.

The Caps scored four first period goals as Dodson had two and led 4-1 after the first. Dodson would finish off the hat trick in the second period as the Caps extended the lead to 6-2 after two periods. Another two goals for Dodson in third, both being 11 seconds a part helped finish off the win. Bridger Babcock scored the first of the game for Oahe while Keegan Kitts and Camron Lee each had goals. Jaxon Jungwirth had 16 saves on 20 shots in the win. Oahe stops its five game skid and improves to 5-8 on the season.

Oahe will travel to Huron next Saturday to face the All-Stars. Puck drop is at 7:00 from the Bergman Arena on Saturday.
