Governors Finish Sixth in Jerry Opbroek Tournament

The Pierre Governor boys wrestling team would finish in sixth place as a team in Mitchell as the Govs would score a 105.5 while Sturgis would win the tournament with a 246.

Gable Uhrig, Alex Oedekoven and Elijah Boutchee all would place second in the tournament while Bode Minder finished in third as the four to place overall for the Governors. Minder would lose his quarterfinal match, but win three straight before then winning the third place match to finish at 4-1 overall on the day as he finished with the most wins individually for Pierre.
