The Sully Buttes Chargers will travel over to Miller tonight for a boys and girls doubleheader facing the Class A Rustlers with extra seed points for the Chargers.
The Charger girls will have a tough task against the 6-2 Miller Rustlers tonight. Sully Buttes, at 4-5, would like the win against Class A Miller to help with seed points as the Chargers are currently in fifth place in Region 6B as they hit the halfway point of the season tonight. Miller has put its two game skid behind them after losses to Mobridge-Pollock and Parkston, the Rustlers knocked off Redfield on Tuesday.
While it’s the halfway point of the season for the Charger girls, the Charger boys will only play its seventh game of the season. Sully Buttes is 4-2 after beating Ipswich on Tuesday. Miller is back to .500 at 4-4 with a win over Redfield on Tuesday. The Chargers will gain some extra seed points for playing the Class A Rustlers.
