The Pierre Governor boys basketball team will be looking to stop its four game losing streak as they host the Tea Area Titans in the first game during the week this season.
Pierre is 2-4 on the season and have only played on Friday and Saturdays with tonight being the first time they’ll have less than six days between games that aren’t back-to-back. Tea is 4-3 on the season, but have only played four South Dakota games. The Titans are 3-1 with wins over Huron, Watertown and Brookings with the lone loss to O’Gorman. The Titans lost to Sioux City North, Iowa on Saturday 61-43 and have dropped three of five. For Pierre, since starting 2-0, have lost a couple of heartbreakers including a three point loss to Sturgis and an overtime loss on Saturday to Washington.
