The Sully Buttes Chargers boys basketball team will get its first game of 2025 with a road contest against rival 6B opponent in Highmore-Harrold tonight.
The Chargers are coming in at 2-2 on the season, last winning on December 30 over Philip at home with a 69-53 score. Even though, it’s just four games so far this year, the Chargers have faced three teams over .500. Tonight, though, they face the 1-4 Pirates after losing to Stanley County on Tuesday in Fort Pierre. The teams have a common opponent in Wolsey-Wessington with the Chargers falling 55-43 while the Pirates dropped a 63-20 decision.
