The Pierre Governor wrestling team will now get its shot at the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles with the makeup dual scheduled for tonight in Pierre.
It’s the start of a busy three days for the Governors, but it begins with the makeup dual. The Govs and Golden Eagles were supposed to wrestle back before Christmas on Tuesday, December 17. Instead, the Govs will get the ESD dual tonight before the boys travel to Presho for the Mid-Dakota Monster on Friday and Saturday while the girls will wrestle Harrisburg on Friday at home and then head to Presho for the one day tournament hosted by Lyman. Both Governor teams are still undefeated in duals.
It’s a rolling schedule tonight at Riggs High School. The JV will wrestle first starting at 5:00 with the varsity girls to follow which will be followed by the boys varsity.
